The High Desert is the creative studio of designer & photographer, Eric Anthony. Eric was raised in the small town of Yucca Valley California where he grew up skateboarding, riding BMX, playing music and catching snakes. Though detemrined to get out of the desert from a young age, it inadvertantly shaped the sensibilites that dictate much of his work to this day, stripped down, natural and onorthodox.

After closing his retail store in Palm Springs (TECH SKATEBOARD SHOP) he left The Desert in 1999 where he began studying print making & photography at at Crafton Hills Community College. In 2000 he dropped out of school to pursue an opportunity to work
at Girl Skateboards where has been ever since.

The bulk of his work in the ARTDUMP is focused on design & photography for FOURSTAR CLOTHING though he also contributes graphics & images to affiliated brands Girl & Chocolate. Aside from his responsibilities with THE ARTDUMP he has worked on various
freelance projects for clients such as Nike, Panasonic, The Skateboard Mag, Project Red, The Quiet Life. Eric's photos have been featured in publications such as, The Skateboard Mag, Skateboarder Magazine, Thrasher Magazine, Monster Children, Lodown, Color Magazine, Concrete Skateboarding, and Copper Press. He has exhibited artworks in group
shows in Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, Paris, Amsterdam, Melbourne & Sydney.
